Overwatch Interest Meet!

11/2/23

(Poster made by me.)

On November 2nd, 2023, I hosted the very first Overwatch Interest meeting, as I was told of the approval of the game and team was going to be set for the spring semester of 2024. I was really excited to hear this and decided to set up a proper meet before we hit the semester off going against other colleges. I've created a list during the interest meeting

Overwatch Interest Meeting List

1. Discussing the team/competitive play. (50 games to gain competitive access on OW)(Highly Recommended.)

2. Encouraging practices or have practices Thursdays to not collapse with the other team schedules.

3. Tryouts will not be around until Next Semester!

4. Get to know the interested peeps! Ask their mains Tank/Attack/Support and what characters they main/learning from.

5. Team Captain Interest currently seeking.

6. Unlocking Characters/Character Comfortability Tank/DPS/Support/All

7. Paying Dues before the team is set! (Dues are 10$ for Competitive team)

I've created this list to share and to be able to provide the proper information for the upcoming season. The Esports Club always welcomes new members, please let me know if you like to know more about the Esports Club!

Thursday Night Overwatch Practice

11/9/23
I've hosted the first ever practice for Overwatch before soon to be tryouts for the upcoming Spring 2024 semester! I've discussed thoroughly about tryouts, future competitions, what to expect, game plans, and communication skills to prepare for the new season.
